The homeowners on this project came to us with a home full of wood siding. Their siding had seen better better days, so they were ready for a re-side. They chose to go with James Hardie fiber cement lap siding. They wanted a slightly larger profile, and to keep the wood look, so we recommended the 9-1/4” cedarmill to accomplish this. Because they went with a 9-1/4 lap, they also wanted to go with a larger than standard trim, so they went with the James Hardie 5-1/2” trim instead of the standard 3-1/2” trim.
